Yellow Jacket Space Program's liquid-propelled launch vehicle is designed to carry a 10 kg payload over 100 km to space. The rocket is named after the Karman Line, the boundary that separates the atmosphere from space. We are trying to be the first collegiate team to send a rocket to outer space.
Karman-1 is a liquid-fueled sounding rocket that uses a pressure-fed Kerosene (Jet-A) and LOx propellant system. The system generates over 15 kN of thrust. It is currently in preliminary design.
